Trade emoji or sticker: what is the difference?.

The useful distinction before you try to paste a hammer into a caption.

A Unicode emoji is a text character

The standard hammer on your phone is part of Unicode. It behaves like text, can sit in a sentence and is drawn by the platform receiving it. A website cannot simply add new official Unicode characters to everyone’s keyboard.

Our trade emojis are image stickers

Trade Emojis supplies transparent PNG and WebP artwork. You can send it as a picture, turn it into a sticker in compatible apps or place it in your own posts. The phrase “emoji keyboard for tradespeople” describes the idea, not a native keyboard download.

Choose PNG for editing, WebP for a lighter file

PNG is widely supported by image editors and is a good starting point for phone imports. WebP often makes a smaller file and also supports transparency. Some apps want a particular format, so keep both if you are building a sticker collection.

Copy does not always mean paste as a sticker

Our Copy image button uses the browser clipboard where supported. Some apps paste the result as an image, some do not accept image pastes. If it fails, use Download PNG and add it through the app’s own image or sticker controls.

App features vary by device and version. If an option is missing, use the original PNG as an image instead. Never install a keyboard or grant unnecessary permissions just to use a sticker.
