How to use trade emojis on iPhone.

Save an image first. Then use it in the apps that support images or stickers.

Save from an emoji page

Tap Download PNG. Depending on Safari’s settings, the image may download into Files or open on its own. If it opens, touch and hold the image and choose the save option. From Files, use Share to save an image into Photos when that option is available.

Try Add Sticker in Photos

On supported iPhones with iOS 17 or later, open the saved image in Photos, touch and hold the subject and look for Add Sticker. Subject recognition is not guaranteed for every illustration. If it does not recognise the artwork, share the saved PNG as an image instead.

Use it in a chat

Apple’s sticker drawer is supported in Messages and some other apps, but not identically everywhere. For WhatsApp, try its own Create option or follow our WhatsApp guide. A PNG will not become a Unicode character that you can paste into a normal text sentence.

Keep your favourites easy to find

Make an album for your favourite trade images rather than saving the entire library into your main camera roll. Keep the original PNG if you want to reuse a clean transparent version in Stories or a design app.

App features vary by device and version. If an option is missing, use the original PNG as an image instead. Never install a keyboard or grant unnecessary permissions just to use a sticker.
